St Tetha

The churchyard of St Teath Church is a photographer’s dream in the months of February and March when there is a stunning carpet of purple crocuses intermixed with daffodils and bluebells—more flowers appearing every year.

The church, dedicated to St Tetha, is in the heart of the village; in fact whichever way you approach the village you will see this beautiful 15th century building. It may be 600 years old (parts are Norman) but with a 21st century outlook, determined to be active in the community.

The church choir are key contributors to our worship Sunday by Sunday, ably led by Choirmaster and organist Gareth.

Our service pattern caters for a wide variety of tastes, including bacon butty lovers at our informal breakfast services right through to choral communion. Our children’s team keep up a supply of activities in our children’s corner which local families pop by to enjoy.

A vibrant ‘Open the Book’ team alternates visits with ‘Storybox’, bringing weekly Bible stories in assemblies. The school visits the church for services during the year.
