Terms of use

These terms explain how you may use this website. They are meant to be straightforward: this is a parish church site, offered to help you find worship, pastoral care, and a welcome in our communities.

About this website

This website is provided by the Camel-Allen Churches for information about our five parish churches, regular services, life events, news, and safeguarding. By using the site you agree to these terms.

If you have a question about the site or these terms, please use our contact page.

What you can expect

We take care to keep service times, contacts, and news accurate, but parish life changes. Seasonal services, illness, weather, and local need can all affect what happens in church. Please treat the pages as a helpful guide and, where it matters, confirm with the current pew sheet, benefice newsletter, or by contacting us.

Nothing on this website is legal, financial, or medical advice, and it does not replace a conversation with the ministry team about a wedding, funeral, baptism, or pastoral concern.

Using the site

You may browse the pages, share links, and contact us for genuine parish or personal enquiries. Please do not:

  • Use the contact form to send spam, advertising, or abusive messages
  • Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site
  • Copy large parts of the site for commercial use without our permission

Content and photographs

Text, photographs, and other material on this site belong to the Camel-Allen Churches, our parishes, or the people who have allowed us to use them. You may quote a short passage or share a page for personal, parish, or news purposes, with acknowledgement. Please ask before reproducing photographs or substantial text elsewhere.

If you believe we have used an image or text without the right permission, contact us and we will look into it promptly.

Links and maps

We link to the Diocese of Truro, the Church of England, our Facebook group, and other organisations we hope you will find useful. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Church locations on our maps are given in good faith to help you find the building. Please follow local access, parking, and countryside courtesy. Directions open in Google Maps, which has its own terms.

Safeguarding

The safety of children and adults is central to our life together. If you have a concern, please read our safeguarding page and follow the guidance there, including contacting the appropriate Parish Safeguarding Officer and, where required, the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser or statutory agencies.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw pages at any time.

Liability

This website is provided free of charge as a service to the community. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from relying on information that later proves incomplete or out of date — for example a changed service time. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website develops. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
